WFM Dimensions provides flexibility for employees to select specific Work Rules directly from the Punch screen when clocking in or out. Work Rules help define variations in scheduling, pay policies, or job roles—such as selecting a different department, location, or shift premium. This ensures time is recorded accurately based on the work performed.
After submitting a punch with a selected Work Rule, employees or managers can review the applied rule on the Timecard. The Timecard will display the Work Rule associated with each punch segment, allowing for verification and ensuring proper payroll processing.
Using Work Rules effectively helps streamline operations, manage labor costs, and maintain compliance with scheduling policies.
